52 Seconds

There is a theme in our house (and on my posts).  Last week I was about to read Thomas the post I put up yesterday…

Me:  Okay, are you ready?

Thomas:  Yep.

Me:  Look at me.  Full attention.

Thomas:  I am.

Me:  You keep looking at your computer.  I need you focused on me.  We are not having sex and I am not watching Grey’s Anatomy at the same time.  We need to be doing this together.  Focus.  Focus.  Focus.  It will only take 30 seconds, kinda like sex.

Thomas:  ALRIGHT!!!!  I’M LOOKING AT YOU!  JUST BEGIN!

Me:  I am an ass. 

Pause.

Me:  I feel like I’ve said this to you before.

Thomas:  I know I’ve said it.

Me:  You’ve said you’re an ass or I’m an ass?

Thomas:  Which one do you think?

Me:  Dude, focus.  Now I have to start over.  “I am an ass”.

Thomas:  It’s more like 52 seconds.
