Wet Willy Vegetable Style

When was the last time you gave or received a “wet willy”?

Friday night we were having a family dinner, which is rare with all the extra-curricular activities, and all of a sudden Olivia gave me a wet willy.

It was very well done.  Nice and wet and thorough and swirled all around my ear.  It was impressive.

Me:  You just gave me a wet willy, you dingbat.

Liv:  Yep.

Me:  Nicely done.

Liv:  I used this.

Me:  That’s a green bean.

Liv:  Yep.

Me:  Eat it.

Liv:  Nooooo!

Me:  Eat it.  I dare you.

Liv:  Nooooo!!!  That’s gross.

Me:  It’s gross to stick it in my ear.  You should eat it.  I’m sure there’s lots of earwax on it, which will give it a little extra touch of flavor.  Haven’t you ever heard of wax beans?  They are super popular.  Eat it!!!!

Aud:  I’ll eat it.

Audrey reached across the tabled grabbed it and pretended to throw it in her mouth.

The problem?

She accidentally let go and it DID fly into her mouth.

She was spitting and spewing and trying to grab a hold of it.

It was hilarious!!!!

By the way, I suggest performing a “Green Bean Willy” at your next family function.

I’m thinking Thanksgiving dinner would be the perfect time!

In case you were wondering, this is the easiest recipe and one of Audrey’s favorites.

Chicken thighs
Family size bag of frozen mixed vegetables (make sure to get the one with green beans)
Large can of chicken broth
Enough water to cover if chicken broth doesn’t
3 bay leaves
Bunch of garlic powder on top

Put everything in a crockpot and cook on high 3-4 hours.

Serve over rice or noodles.

Enjoy!
